Think Tool, Korn, and other modern metal music. Dead Light Pulse combines hard rocking guitars and earth-shattering percussion to produce a sound that is unique yet somewhat familiar.

Formed in 2007 in Asheville, North Carolina, the band was originally called Shaka. The original members were Kyran, Ryan, Tommy, and Drew. Josh joined the band as lead vocalist for a short period of time, but was replaced by Rhiannon in early 2008. The band has performed at various venues around the Western North Carolina area and has competed in the Live, Loud, and Local battle of the bands at the Garage at Biltmore. They not only won the competition, but they also won a following of fans in the process.
